  THE SOLUTION

Solutions63.net is a group of concerned citizens that believe the current Real Estate Crisis can not be solved in the old fashion way by just throwing taxpayer’s money at it.

We believe that past and present government policy has been at the root of the problem.

What Happened

We believe that ultimately the real estate community and home owners will be at the heart of the solution.

Solutions63 (our name) refers to the fact that not everyone should be a  home owner and that through a long history of economic risk analysis only an estimated 63%  of the US citizens currently have the income, credit skills and financial reserves to own a home. As basic risk analysis was ignored through the well meant but erroneous government policy of pushing affordable home ownership, we find ourselves trying to unwind this mistake. The current ownership rate of 67.5% is between 3 to 4% to high. This means over 3,000,000 homes must be converted to rental units.

The Solution: Swiftly and judicially bring the balance of home ownership back in line to 63%. This can be accomplished through tax policies that support incentives to investors that would facilitate their involvement in a recovery. More on the Solution

We do not believe the current non owners should stay renters, but only that at this time the market must be brought back into balance and the risk reduced in the mortgage market.

The Federal Government should have been more involved with teaching our fellow citizens how to handle debt and should NOT have been in the business of subsidizing the mortgage industry.
